Experience

July 2020 - present
Software Engineer at Hostnet After graduation, I remained at Hostnet as a part-time developer. I use PHP and Symfony to work on both back end and customer facing systems and microservices that are used in the process of delivering hosting and domain services to customers, and help maintain the CI/CD environment in GitLab.
January 2020 - July 2020
Development intern at Hostnet I followed my graduation internship at Hostnet. During the internship I developed a repository management system for Composer using Go.
October 2017 - December 2020
Owner and Developer at WebStudyo I founded WebStudyo with two fellow students at the HvA. We made websites and web applications using Wordpress and Laravel.
July 2018 - August 2019
Fullstack Developer at CloudGames After my internship, I was hired as a software engineer at CloudGames. My job was to write supportive software for the games that they produce, such as a chatbot for Facebook Messenger and a CI/CD environment for the game developers. I worked with AWS, Docker, React and Node.
February 2018 - July 2018
Data Science Intern at CloudGames During my internship at CloudGames, I have worked on an AI driven automated Real-time Bidding system, which was used to find potentially valuable users, and target ads at them.

Technical Experience

Programming Languages
Go: I use Go as my go-to programming language when writing software for personal projects. Some applications at Hostnet are written in Go. Because of personal use, it is the programming language I am most confident with.
C: Many of the programming assignments I have made at the VU were in C.
Javascript/Node.js: I have mainly used Node.js for serverless functions using AWS Lambda.
PHP: PHP is the main programming language used at Hostnet. At WebStudyo, we used PHP to create web applications, mainly using the Laravel framework.
